Officials said, "Super Lawyers ranks lawyers from more than 70 practice areas in each state and selects those who are outstanding in their practice with both professional achievement and peer recognition. To qualify as a Super Lawyer or Rising Star, nominees must undergo a multiphase selection process, which includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
"Ms. Perry has been specially recognized on the Top 100: 2024 Tennessee Super Lawyers list. The Top Lists elevate exclusivity by showcasing attorneys who achieved the highest scores during the rating and selection process. The "Top 100" list follows the same evaluations as Super Lawyers, which includes multiple stages. The process includes peer nominations, independent research and peer evaluations by practice areas, with each stage assigned a point value. The points are totaled, and those with the highest points are recognized on the Super Lawyer Top Lists.
The Super Lawyers research team also chooses the top 2.5 percent of Tennessee lawyers to be selected for their Rising Stars list. To be eligible for this recognition, candidates must either be 40 years old or younger or have less than 10 years of practice experience."
