Zona Virginia Prince, 94, of Chattanooga but a native of Sherwood, Tenn., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in a local nursing home.

Ms. Prince was a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church. She was retired from 3M Co. as an inspector. She was a charter member of the American Business Women's Association, and a member of the 3M Retirees Club.

Survivors include three nephews, Donald Lea Prince of San Antonio, Texas, Anthony Prince of Nashville and Walter H. Prince of East Ridge; five nieces, Olivia Smith of Winchester, Tenn., Avanelle Strange of Hixson, Jacqueline Burnett of Pickwick Dam, Tenn., Phyllis Marie Cook of Cowan, Tenn., and Marion E. Telford of Nashville.

The funeral service will be 4 p.m. on Thursday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. David Harr officiating.

The interment will be 1 p.m. (CST)graveside on Friday at Mountain View Cemetery in Sherwood, Tenn.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153.
