Gayla’s Affair With Stained Glass Opens

  • Wednesday, November 5, 2003

Gayla’s Affair with Stained Glass, located at 6425 Hixson Pike, will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, November 11, at 10:30 a.m.

"We are the only fully-stocked stained glass supply store in Chattanooga,” said owner Gayla Dunfee.

Officials said, "Gayla’s Affair with Stained Glass carries all the supplies needed by a stained-glass artist, including high-quality glass, hand tools, glass grinders and glass ban saws. Convenience is a major factor, as many stained glass artists have had to drive to Atlanta or order from a catalogue to purchase all the items that are in stock at this local retail store."

“We sell almost anything you can buy from any catalogue,” said Gayla.

Stained glass classes will also be taught every Saturday from February through October. Class prices are $55 for foil and $65 for lead classes.

Gayla’s Affair with Stained Glass is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
