63-Year-Old Copperhill Mayor Indicted For Child Pornography

A Chattanooga federal grand jury has indicted the mayor of Copperhill, Tn., for child pornography.

The indictment was returned against Robert Eugene Thomas, 63, charging that he received on his computer visual depictions of children performing sexual acts.

He faces up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Thomas entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday.

The trial is set for April 7.
