StringTime In The Smokies Brings Bluegrass To Pigeon Forge

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.—Pigeon Forge will host its annual StringTime in the Smokies concert series, Aug. 6-7, in Patriot Park. Performances will feature up and coming bluegrass artists as well as some of the genre’s best-known entertainers.

Beginning at 1 p.m. each day, concertgoers will be treated to an afternoon of bluegrass music. Performing Saturday will be the Burson Family, Shadow Ridge, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, Greenbrier, and the Grascals. Taking the stage Sunday will be Paul Williams and the Victory Trio, Melonie Cannon, the Tony Rice Unit, and the Del McCoury Band.

StringTime in the Smokies is free of charge. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. The weekend event is presented in partnership with WDVX radio in Knoxville.
