Betty Jo Horn, 72, of Harrison, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at her residence.
She was a member of Harrison United Methodist Church, and was a devoted homemaker for the past 37 years. She loved and was loved by her family. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. B.J., as she was lovingly known, set a high standard in all areas of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kye and Mildred Shelton McClamroch; a brother, David McClamroch; and a sister, Camille Petty.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Horn; and a son, Bryan Horn, both of Harrison; and a daughter, Holly (Kelly) Hardeman, Chattanooga; a sister, Nelda (Freeman) Marr, Bartlett, TN; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Pat) Horn, Memphis, Harold Petty, Mercer, TN; and sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Horn, Franklin, TN and Bernece McClamroch, Bartlett, TN; three grandchildren, Jacob Horn, Chattanooga, Samuel Horn, Harrison, and Bailey Hardeman, Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Darryl Ross and the Rev. Tom Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jim Bolen, Jim Cavendish, Jim Gay, Carl Guice, Terry Parks, Jim Schwartzkopf. Honorary pallbearers: L.M. Castleberry, Jerry James, Harold Sherard, Richard Strong.
