Cindy Rhodes
Cindy Rhodes, R.N., M.S.N., has been named administrator of the Erlanger East Campus on Gunbarrel Road.
Erlanger East encompasses Women’s Services including obstetrical care, Surgical Services (plastic, orthopedic and gynecologic surgeries and pain management procedures), Erlanger East Urgent Care and a physician’s office building.
Ms. Rhodes joined Erlanger Health System in 1999 as nurse manager of T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital’s Emergency Department and was promoted to director of the Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and General Pediatrics in 2001.
Before moving to Chattanooga, she was nurse manager of the Pediatric Emergency Room, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., and held numerous positions at Children’s Hospital Center, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, including nurse manager of the Pediatric Emergency Treatment area and Adult Triage.
Ms. Rhodes holds a master of science in nursing administration from Barry University, a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Miami, an associate of science degree from Miami Dade Community College and a registered nurse degree from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Miami.
According to Susan O’Hare, Erlanger senior vice president of specialty hospitals, “We are thrilled for Cindy to move into the administrator role at Erlanger East Campus, a growth-oriented and dynamic part of the Erlanger Health System. Having excelled at every challenge she has been handed since joining our organization, we know she has a lot to offer that facility and community.”
Ms. Rhodes said, “I’m excited by the opportunities at Erlanger East and already enjoying working with our dedicated staff and physicians.”
