Gobble Campaign Opening Office In Hixson; Hosting Chili Supper

  • Tuesday, January 12, 2010

The Campaign of District 3 Congressional candidate Tim Gobble announced today that a headquarters location has been secured in Hixson.

Candidate Gobble said, “I am pleased we will be opening our headquarters in February - six months ahead of the primary election. This gives us ample time to organize and build a winning team. The location is great and will be very visible and accessible.”

Gobble Campaign Manager Jeff Lewis said, “Our campaign is on track and we are gearing up for a series of high-profile campaign events. This week we will host a chili supper in Bradley County and, beginning in February, we will kick off the 'Building a Strong America' tour where Tim will host town hall-style 'listening' meetings and 'meet and greets' throughout the district.

"Tim has been extremely successful in his two previous campaigns for public office and his record of community and national service is outstanding. Tim has a real ability to connect with everyday working people and put their interest ahead of the interest of the entrenched political power structure.

"People are looking for candidates who come from non-traditional backgrounds who can go to Washington, promote good jobs, reduce the debt and protect our national security. This race is not about who has the most money, it’s about who can best represent people and protect their interest.”

The exact location and date of the headquarters grand opening will be announced soon.

The 2010 3rd District Congressional Campaign Kickoff Chili Supper will be Saturday at North Lee Elementary School, 205 Sequoia Road, NW Cleveland, from 406 p.m.

At 5 p.m., Sheriff Gobble will speak and introduce any candidates and officials who are in attendance.
