Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Carpenter Lackey

Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Carpenter Lackey, 62, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, she was a retired employee of Unum Insurance where she worked for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Frederick Carpenter and Sarah “Betsy” Elizabeth Little Carpenter. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Lackey; sister, Marie (Pat) Sugrue; brother, Fred (Beverly) Carpenter; nieces, Kristin and Hannah; and nephew, Matt.
