Christine Hudlow

Christine Hudlow, 96, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

Christine was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1946 graduate of Central High School.  

She was an LPN with Erlanger Hospital for over 25 years.  Christine was a longtime member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and the “Merry Makers’ group at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hudlow; parents, Eleanor Gray Standifer Biggs and William Luther Biggs; maternal grandparents, Ida Elizabeth Standifer and Joseph Baxter Standifer; and paternal grandparents, Gussie Davis Biggs and James A. Biggs.

Christine is survived by her two daughters, Diane Hudson and Rhonda Gray; grandchildren, George Clifford (Ashley) Hudson, James William Hudson and Kristen Michelle Gray; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will gather with friends from 12:30-1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Christine will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
