Julie Pogue Feagans, 46, died peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.

She had courageously battled cancer for almost four years. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, having attended St. Nicholas and Boyd-Buchanan Schools before graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1985 with a B.S. degree in education.

Julie is survived by her husband, D. Mark Feagans; sons, Blake Cameron Feagans and Jack Harrison Feagans, of Chattanooga; parents, Hays and Evelyn Pogue; sister, Nancy Pogue Tyler, of Chattanooga; and brother, Richard “Rick” Hays Pogue, of Bradenton, Fl.; mother and father-in-law, H.W. “Dub” and Barbara Feagans; sister-in-law, Allyson Feagans Millican and husband, Brian, of Dalton, Ga.; several nieces and nephews, Jessica Pogue Porrata and husband, Gabe, of Tampa, Fl., Tyler Pogue, of Bradenton, Fl., Joshua and Rachel Tyler, of Chattanooga, and Katherine Grace and Claire Elizabeth Millican, of Dalton, Ga.; cousins, Janice Pogue and Luke Pogue, of Chattanooga, and Mimi Freedman, of California.
