Ruby Red Christmas is back for its fourth year, spreading holiday cheer this December on Friday and Saturday nights (closed Christmas Eve) from 5–9 p.m.
Experience the sights and sounds of Christmas with falling snow, live music and hot chocolate. And new this year, is a ride up the mountain on Chattanooga’s Double Decker Bus for free. Bus rides depart at the top of every hour beginning at 5 p.m., in the front circle at the Tennessee Aquarium, then leave Ruby Falls at the bottom of every hour until 9:30 p.m.
Also, take a horse-drawn carriage ride and make some crafts like ornaments and gingerbread houses in the North Pole Workshop. Visit Mrs. Claus and listen to her read a Christmas story. And enjoy live music in the castle and at the waterfall.

Ruby Falls is open every day from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., with guided tours departing every few minutes. Additional charges apply to some activities. The last ticket sold to tour the cave is at 8 p.m., with shops and carriage rides open until 9 p.m.
Ruby Falls is America’s deepest commercial cave and largest underground waterfall open for public viewing. It features a 145-foot waterfall located 1,120 feet beneath the surface of Lookout Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. LED lighting is used throughout the castle and waterfall. Ruby Falls is the first U.S. attraction to have received the dual Green Globe/Green Certification by Green Globe International, Inc.
