Barry VanCura, co-founder and director of Ballet Tennessee, has died suddenly. He co-founded Ballet Tennessee with his wife, Anna Baker VanCura.
The Ballet Tennessee website says, "It is with great sadness and disbelief we must inform you of the passing of Barry VanCura. Arrangements will be posted as they are made. The family asks for privacy during this time of grief. Thank you for all of your love and support."
Classes have been cancelled and the school will be closed next week.
