Attorney Jerry Farinash, trustee in the Jack E. Brown involuntary bankruptcy case, has been given court permission to hire a handwriting expert.
Attorney Farinash said the expert is needed to examine certain documents in the case that has been described as a $12 million Ponzi Scheme.
Dr. Larry Miller, of East Tennessee State University, will be paid $100 per hour, plus expenses.
