Ooltewah High School Band Holds Bandapalooza Fundraiser Festival

  • Tuesday, April 30, 2013

The Ooltewah High School Band will hold a Bandapalooza fundraiser festival on June 1 at the Veteran's Memorial Park in Collegedale.

The OHS Band has been involved with many special events to include the Disney Christmas Parade, McDonald's Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It has recently been invited back to the Macy's 2013 Thanksgiving Day Parade. The festival will raise funds for the trip to New York.

The festival will consist of food vendors, craft vendors, informational booths and local bands to participate throughout the day.

There are seven slots still open for bands with an approximate play time of one hour set for each.

All funds generated from arm band sales will be given to the band, and any food vendors, or craft vendors will be allowed to generate their separate income. Officials are asking that a small donation made out to the OHS band from such vendors.
