2-Month-Old From Dalton Dies In Tragic Home Accident

A two-month-old child from Dalton, Ga., has died in a tragic incident at home with a vehicle.

Azariyah Lynette Miglia died Sunday after being taken to Children's Hospital in Chattanooga.

Authorities said her mother was moving an SUV and the father was carrying the child in a car seat behind the vehicle when her foot slipped and the vehicle went back and pinned the child against a wall. 

Survivors include her parents, Derek J.

Miglia and Tiffany J. Miglia of Dalton; sister, Aniyah Miglia; brothers, Kalyi Miglia, Kayin Migilia and Jeremiah Miglia; grandparents, Lynette Towns, Mark London, Joyce Nicola and Chris (Tina) Barrett; and great-grandparents, Ann (Charles) Dwight, Betty (Lawrence) Brady.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home, Inc.
