Funeral services will be Saturday for 35-year-old Tammy Hale, whose battered body was found last Sunday at the home she shared on Lovell Road with Terry Releford.
Releford later was tracked by authorities to a motel in Calhoun, Ga. He killed himself before officers could reach him.
Ms. Hale was the manager of Liberty Tax Service in Hixson.
Family members said, "She was a loving mother, daughter and sister and will be missed by everyone who knew her."
Survivors include her daughters, Dava and Bailey; parents, Danny and Vicki Hale; and brother, Adam Hale; nephew, Josh; niece, Devin; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any TVA Credit Union, checks made payable to Danny or Vicki Hale for Tammy Hale Releford.
Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. on Friday and 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
