Former Baylor School golfer Harris English won the FedEx Classic PGA golf tournament in Memphis on Sunday and earned a spot in the 2014 Masters.

Finishing at 12-under par, it is his first victory on the PGA Tour and his fourth top 10 finish.

Harris won despite getting four bogeys on the front nine for a 37, but rallied for birdies on Nos.10, 11 and 17 to post a 32 on the back nine.

English played at Baylor for four years as a boarding student from South Georgia before going to the University of Georgia.

He played on the state Division II champion Red Raider teams from 2003-06 and was state individual champion in 2005, his junior year.

At 17, Harris became the third youngest player to win the Georgia Amateur behind Bobby Jones and Charlie Yates
