Glenn Edward Dorsett, Jr., 52, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Dorsett was born Dec. 29, 1960, in Melborne, FL, the son of Glenn Edward Dorsett, Sr. and Evelyn Wesley Trotter. He was employed with Rite Aid Pharmacy. He was a member of Undertaker’s Riding Club.
Survivors include his son, Patrick Tyler Dorsett; mother, Evelyn Trotter; father, Glen Dorsett, Sr.; sisters, Rubye Hyers and Margaret Fowler; brothers, Willis Dorsett, David Dorsett, and Wesley Dorsett; brother-in-law, Kevin J. Norton; nephew, Zackery Norton; and Michelle Dorsett.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin J. Norton officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. CST on Friday, Aug. 9, at Dailey’s Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Edwards, Leon Huskey, Tony Wiggley, Eric Powell, John Everett, and Trey Skelton.
Mr. Dorsett will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.
