Corker Discusses Limiting The Negative Impact Of Obamacare On CNN’s “New Day”

  • Wednesday, September 25, 2013

Senator Bob Corker, R-Tn., discussed ways of limiting the negative impact of Obamacare on CNN’s “New Day” Wednesday morning.

“Republicans are all very concerned about the policies that are occurring through this health care bill…I do hope we end up with some good policy changes over the course of this next week, and I think we have the opportunity for that to occur,” said Senator Corker.  “I do hope we end up with a possibility of a delay of the individual mandate… maybe a delay in the subsidies since you cannot verify people’s income at present.”

Senator Corker further said, “If you don’t have some degree of optimism working in this place, you’d have a very, very difficult career here...I have a feeling something fairly good can come out of this…discussions over which is the best tactic, those will be long forgotten if we can get some good policies in place.”

Senator Corker also appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” and “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday.
