UTC Softball Hosts Blue and Gold Game Saturday

  • Thursday, October 16, 2014
The Chattanooga Mocs softball team is set to host its annual Blue & Gold Game Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by the presentation of the 2014 Southern Conference Championship rings and a free cookout.

“This is always a fun game to come to,” Head Coach Frank Reed said. “It gives fans the chance to get one last look at the team before we begin preparing indoors for the spring season.  After the game and following the ring ceremony, everyone is invited to meet the team and enjoy the cookout.”

Following the game, either after seven innings or at the 1 p.m.
drop time, the team will be presented its rings, courtesy of Barbara and Joe Waters.  After receiving their rings, the Mocs invite everyone in attendance to the concourse behind first base for a free cookout presented by the RBI Club.
