Lois Virginia Cain Phillips, 91, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, October 24, 2014.

She was born in Ringgold, to the late Marvin and Venus Cain. After marrying her husband, Wesley Arnold Phillips, they moved to East Ridge.  She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church for over 60 years and retired from TVA after 38 years of service. Lois loved the Lord, setting the example for her children and family.  She enjoyed her fellowship with the retirees from TVA when they were together.  

Lois was very family oriented, bringing her much joy in life.  She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends and did it with such a giving and generous spirit.  Lois had resided at Elmcroft Assisted Living for the last 15 years and had made numerous friends while there, considering those as family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Arnold Phillips; one son, Dale Phillips and her brother, Charles Cain.

Survivors include her son, Daryl (Judy) Phillips; grandchildren, Jodi Cabeen and Jill Phillips; four great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Nanette Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Wayne Barber officiating.  A private family interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
