Police say a former employee of the Subway on E. 23rd Street confessed to robbing it.

Demarcus Williams, 21, of 900 N. Orchard Knob Ave., is facing two counts of aggravated robbery in the incident on Thursday.

Two female employees said they were robbed at gunpoint by two black males. Both said they recognized Williams.

Police contacted Williams and he admitted the robbery. He turned over the clothing that was worn and the property taken.

Williams said the guns were at 861 N.
Orchard Knob Ave. Trina Covington at first denied the guns were at her residence, then she turned them over to police.
