Police are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery that happened Friday morning.
At approximately 8:10 a.m. the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 5317 Highway 153 for a robbery at the Long John Silver's.
Officers discovered that two black men, wearing hoodies and masks, entered the Long John Silver's and forced the assistant manager to open the safe. One suspect brandished a silver handgun. Both suspects fled in an older dark-colored sedan. The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
