Rosie Back
Rosie Mareda Dent Back, 91, of Soddy Daisy, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her residence.
The daughter of the late Ephiam and Altha Jane Bowers Dent, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Estill Back, sons, Wayne Mullins, Terry Stephen Back; sisters, Bernice Massingale, Elizabeth Wolfe; brother, Floyd Dent; grandchildren, Michael Gene and Steven Arnold Kirby, Melissa Back; and great granddaughter, Skylar Back.
Survivors include her children, Roy Gene Mullins, Richmond, KY, Elizabeth Joy (Charles) Kirby, Evarts, KY, Ronnie Allen (Sue) Back, Sparta, TN, Larry Herd (Cheri) Back, Kissimee, FL, Estina Jane (Jeff) Lowery, Soddy Daisy; grandchildren, Hope Norman, Gay (Charles) Long, Rhonda (Troy) King, Lisa (Tommy) Witt, Tammie (Ondell) Meeks, Corey Back, Lauren, Aaron, and Madison Lowery, Elisha Distin, Landon Hickey, and Jason Marsh;great grandchildren, Polly Fannin, Tyler Hickey, Dustin Hickey, Alex Fullmer, Ellis Distin, Gracie and Sam Norman, Beth and Gary Dale Kirby, Jannell and Jared Long, Cody and Macy King, Drake and Erica Witt, Lee and Logan Meeks, and Brice Back; great great grandchildren, Abby, Lauren, Autumn, Isabelle, Hannah, and Landon Kirby; special friend, Carolyn Eustice; special niece, Bobby Jean Massingale; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care that they provided Rosie.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the chapel with Reverend Jerry Kirby officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
