Man Shot On Willow Street; Victim Won't Cooperate

A man was shot early Thursday morning on Willow Street.

Chattanooga Police officers responded at 4:04 a.m. to a local hospital on reports of a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers talked with Orlandas Gay, 24.

Mr. Gay stated he was walking on North Willow Street when a silver car drove past him and started shooting. He refused to give officers any more information and stated he did not wish to talk to police. He suffered one gunshot wound to his left calf, and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

This case is pending.
