Bobby C. Lemley, 54, Killed In Accident On Dayton Pike Friday Night

A man was killed late Friday night in an accident on Dayton Pike.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called at 10:22 p.m. on Friday to investigate a single-vehicle traffic crash reported at 15100 Dayton Pike in Sale Creek.

Traffic Investigator Adam Patton advised the investigation showed that the vehicle, a 2000 Nissan XTerra operated by Bobby C. Lemley, 54, was traveling northbound on Dayton Pike, when for unknown reasons, he crossed over into the southbound lane, leaving the roadway, and striking a tree.

Mr. Lemley died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
