Paula Elaine Steele, 47, of Chickamauga, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014.
She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Steele.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Lynn of Chickamauga; special companion, Eric Powell of Ooltewah; two brothers, Carliss Shirley of Rock Spring, and Randy Steele of LaFayette, Ga., and special friend, Linda Duff of Chickamauga.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Warren Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, and prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
