Senator Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will preside over a hearing on “The Fight Against ISIS: Building the Coalition and Ensuring Military Effectiveness" with General John R. Allen, Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL (also referred to as ISIS).
This will be the committee’s first in a series of hearings related to the president’s proposal for an authorization for the use of military force (AUMF) against ISIS.
The hearing will begin at 1:30 p.m.
