Signal Mountain Girls Win East Sectional Track Meet

The Signal Mountain girls' track team took home the East Sectional championship on Thursday at Christian Academy of Knoxville. The Signal Mountain girls qualified for state in 11 events and will compete at the state meet on May 21st at MTSU.

Qualifying for Signal Mountain are the following girls: Camryn Bowman in the shot put and discus, Katie Lingle in the long jump, Mckenzie Ethridge in the 100m and 200m dash, Mallory Young in the 800, 1600 and 3200m, Taylor Luthringer in the 800m and 1600m, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay and the 4x800 relay.
