Barbara Ann Willis, 75, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Lula Belle Willis, was retired from the local phone company, G.T.E., and was a faithful member of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Terri Betton; son, Timothy Thomas; sisters, Melvia Heard, Eleanor Jackson of Dalton and Betty (Marvin) Jackson of LaFayette; brothers, Theo (Evelyn) Willis, Jerry (Shirley) Willis and Terry Willis of Dalton; grandchildren, Ryan Betton, Deandrea Thomas, Lachae Wilson, Christian Washington, Devonte Harris and Trey Jackson; great-grandchildren, Kyera Betton, Kirah Betton, Kass Betton and Kadence Hackney; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Service to Celebrate the Life of Barbara Ann Willis will be held Thursday, May 28, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27 after 11 a.m. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
