Jazzanooga is partnering with the city of Chattanooga Department of Youth and Family Development to bring arts education activities to youth this summer. They are presenting an eight week summer youth arts program at the South Chattanooga Youth and Family Development Center.

This program serves young people ages 12-17 and offers dance, music, creative writing, spoken word, field trips and more. For more information about this program e-mail info@jazzanooga.org.

The Youth Music Academy, a community-based music education program, focused on introducing young people to jazz and providing them opportunities to perform publicly, will start again in the fall.

This program is funded by the Lyndhurst Foundation and meets on Saturdays. For more information about the youth academy, visit the Jazzanooga website and donate to the ongoing Causeway campaign.
