The Chattanoogan Hotel Promotes 2 Top Executives

The Chattanoogan hotel, a Benchmark Hotel, has promoted Diana Wellman to the position of director of operations and O’Mally Foster to director of human resources. Ms. Wellman has served as the director of conference services at The Chattanoogan since 2014. Mr. Foster has been the human resources manager at the hotel for the past year.

Tom Cupo, Benchmark Hospitality International’s regional managing director at the property, made the announcement.  "I am extremely pleased to promote Diana and O’Mally,” said Mr. Cupo.  “Since joining The Chattanoogan, both have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence; these are well-deserved promotions.”

Ms. Wellman has more than three decades of senior hospitality experience, spanning sales, conference services and catering. Before returning to The Chattanoogan last year, she spent a decade serving as a key member of Benchmark Hospitality’s global task force team, assisting a number of Benchmark properties, including Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii, Naples Bay Resort in Florida, Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado, The Heldrich in New Jersey, and Hotel Contessa in Texas.

Mr. Foster has spent almost two decades working in human resources and the hospitality industry.  For seven years, he was the human resources regional manager for Noble Management, a hotel management company. He also served for several years as the rooms manager and accounting HR manager for Embassy Suites in Destin, Fl.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Foster was the assistant general manager for Homewood Suites in Mobile, Al.
