Aurelian Ophenelia Currey, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at a local hospital.

Aurelian served in the Navy 1944-1946 and was a World War II veteran. He was owner of Currey Contracting. 

Survivors include his sons, Todd and Ronnie Currey; daughter, Pam Bonine; grandchildren, Tiffany, Megan, April, Sean, Tammy, LeRoy, Micah, and Shannon; seven great-grandchildren, and his dog, Abby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Chattanooga National Cemetery

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
