BlueCross Selects Eiselstein for Expanded Role in Product Development

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has selected Michael Eiselstein as director of insured products and exchanges. In this expanded role, he will be responsible for group insured products as well as overseeing individual products, including the Marketplace product line.

In his most recent position as director of individual products, Eiselstein oversaw product launches in the individual market. This included the launch of BlueCross products on the Marketplace.

“Michael is a true leader and BlueCross is fortunate to have him directing the diverse work of our product development teams,” said Kelly Paulk, director of product strategy. “As we focus on meeting the needs of our customers, his expertise, knowledge and experience will continue to be a great asset.”

In his 18 years at BlueCross, Eiselstein has managed product strategy for Medicare Advantage, including product changes that led to membership growth of over 100 percent in two open enrollment periods. Additionally, he served as product manager of Under 65 Product Performance, senior financial underwriter, actuarial analyst and utilization analyst.
