Boynton Lions Club donated $114 to assist the Georgia Baptist Children's Home. President Richmond Blackwell presented a check and box of pennies to Johnny Jennings to add to the funds he raises for the home from his recycling ministry.
Mr. Jennings has raised more than $385,000 for the home through his 30 years of collecting recyclables.

Another community project is the long-term care and maintenance of the Dailey Hill Cemetery.The group is now receiving donations from friends and relatives of those interred there to assist with the costs of mowing and upkeep.
