Patsy Long Seaton, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at a local hospital. 

She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Rock Spring area where she was a 1976 graduate of Lafayette High School. She was employed with Arthritis Associates in Hixson where she had worked in the office for the past 11 years. Patsy’s passions in life were music, the Georgia Bulldogs, spending time with family and friends, and she loved her animals. Patsy never met a stranger and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Carl Long; mother, Odell Mayne Long; and brothers, Bill and Bobby Long.

Survivors include her son, Will Seaton of Chattanooga; brother, Ray Long of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Diane Long, of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Troy Lawson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sand Rock Cemetery in Sand Rock, Al.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
