Arsonists Destroy Playground At Tinsley Park In Cleveland

Cleveland Fire Department investigators say arsonists destroyed the playground at Tinsley Park Sunday evening. 

The playground that has been there for decades and enjoyed by hundreds of families every day nearly burned to the ground.  The estimated loss is $100,000.

Fires were lit in three different spots by the vandals, which melted and charred the playground equipment. 

Cleveland Parks and Recreation officials are already meeting with insurance representatives to rebuild the park. 

The Cleveland Fire Department is asking for any information regarding the vandalism.  A $5,000 reward has been offered.  Investigators said the arsonists will be punished to the full extent of the law.
