Shrum, Edna Mae (Whitwell)

Edna Mae Shrum, 79, of Whitwell, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 15, 2016.  

Edna Mae was a member of the Sequatchie First Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Shrum; parents, Reuben and Tisha Griffith Green; sister, Elsie Green; and brothers, Robert, Ray, Norm and Scott Green. 

She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Joyce) Kerr, Kathy (Butch) Smith, Sharon (Rickey) Layne, and Denver (Dana) Shrum; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Annie (John) Rowland; brothers, Les (Charlotte) Green and Ken (Connie) Green; special friend considered a sister, Betty Watson Slatton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. 

The family will receive friends from 12-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 18 and from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19. 

A Graveside will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 19, at Condra Cemetery with Butch Smith and Reverend Wayne Bowman officiating. 

Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
