United Crate Racing Alliance Has Championship Luncheon

usty Ballenger of Seymour, Tenn. took home $5,000 for winning the United Crate Racing Alliance 2016 Championship Saturday afternoon outside Chattanooga during a Championship luncheon.

The Top 5 in points received awards along with their points earnings to cap off the series second season of competition.

The recent new father, Ballenger 26, won twice in series competition during a pair of middle Tennessee visits early in the season and lead the points championship up til the final events in Sweetwater and Maryville.

Series officials are working on the 2017 schedule that will include tracks in nearby Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and possibly North Carolina. The series web-site www.UCRAracing.com and Facebook page will have further details in January.
