Erlanger Heart And Lung Institute Hires Dr. Michael Mikolaj

The Erlanger Heart and Lung Institute announces the addition of Michael Mikolaj, MD to its network of cardiologists. 
 
Dr. Mikolaj received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus. After completing the internal medicine residency program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he completed additional fellowship training in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and cardiovascular MRI and CT.  "Dr. Mikolaj’s advanced cardiovascular imaging expertise offers patients a more definitive diagnosis and treatment plan," officials said.
 
“We are very excited to welcome Dr.
Mikolaj to Erlanger,” said Kevin M. Spiegel, FACHE, president and CEO of Erlanger Health System. “The expertise in cardiovascular MRI that Dr. Mikolaj will bring to Erlanger is not offered elsewhere in the region. Dr. Mikolaj’s experience and training will enhance the world class treatment available at the Erlanger Heart and Lung Institute.”
