Police arrested Ubaldo Hernandez, 23, Wednesday for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Police stated Hernandez engaged in consensual sex with a minor in Hamilton County around Nov. 19, 2015.
The girl became pregnant and on Jan. 27 she and her mother reported statutory rape to Chattanooga police.
On Feb. 3 authorities interviewed Hernandez at the police department on Amnicola Highway.
He admitted to having consensual sex with the 15-year-old.
Police placed him under arrest on the charge of aggravated statutory rape.
