Check Into Cash announced this week the acquisition of Equity Management Group, Inc., a private, family-owned-and operated, payday/title lending company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.
Kimberly Gardner founded EMG in 1994.
Ms. Gardner joins Check Into Cash as vice president of Public Affairs and Community Relations and brings with her more than 22 years experience in the financial services industry.
Ms. Gardner also brings Michael Moore with her, formerly a member of her senior management team. Mr. Moore will serve as repossessions and remarketing manager for Check Into Cash.

Mr. Moore echoed Ms. Gardner’s excitement.

Ms. Gardner has been married to her husband, Dennis, for 23 years and the couple has three labrador retrievers. In her free time, she enjoys running and completed the New York City TCS Marathon in November. Mr. Moore and his wife of four years, Oma, has two daughters – Amy and Lindsey – and a son, Hudson. In his free time, Mr. Moore enjoys golf.
