Police are investigating the death of a seven-month-old girl at Emma Wheeler Homes.
An autopsy was set to try to determine the cause of death.
The incident happened Thursday morning.
She was rushed to Children's Hospital, but later died.
Crime tape was set up outside the section of the public housing where she lived.
Animals and other items were removed from the residence.
