Officer Dennis Pedigo Back On The Job

  • Monday, May 2, 2016

Officer Dennis Pedigo, who was shot in the ankle while responding to the incident in which four military personnel were killed at the Naval Center on Amnicola Highway last July, has returned to work at the Chattanooga Police Department.

His current work status is "light duty" and he will remain on "light duty" until he is cleared by doctors for return to full duty.

Chief Fred Fletcher said, "Officer Pedigo is a true hero and it is so good to see him back in the station.
He still has a long road ahead to full recovery, but he is strong and he is a fighter and we all have his back."
