A developer is planning to build 31 new homes on a 10.a-acre site near Alpine Crest Elementary School.
H&H Developments said 3.3 acres will be left as community space.
The site at 4653 Cary Lane near Sherry Lane is owned by Smart Choice Properties.
Officials said, "The site is undeveloped existing woodlands. The site has some significant
topographical features to develop around."
It is in the city of Chattanooga near the Red Bank line.
