Billy Fred Bandy, 79, of Decatur, Tn., went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2017, at his residence.
He was a long standing member of Five Point Baptist Church in Decatur, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dixie Bandy; sisters, JoAnn Davis, Evelyn Davis and a brother, Eddie Bandy.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jean Bandy; daughters, Robin (Chigger) Mosley, Pamela Welch and Tosha Green (Justin Miller); sons, Freddy Keith Bandy and Billy K. Bandy, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, other extended family, church family, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Five Point Baptist Church with the Reverend Curtis Walden officiating. Interment will follow in the Five Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Matthew Bandy, Billy K. Bandy, Hunter Welch, Chigger Mosley, Justin Miller, and Anthony Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. at Five Point Baptist Church and from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.
