Joyce Rogers Martin of Longwood, Florida, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away at home on December 30, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Opal Rogers, and her brother, Joe L. Rogers.
Joyce grew up in Red Bank, and after graduating from GPS, attended Baylor University, where she met her husband of 59 years, Malcolm M. Martin.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Malcolm “Chip” Martin, Jr. (Melissa) and Joselin Rogers Martin (Joe Jackson); granddaughters, Lauren Smith (Tim), Maggie and Emily Jackson; great-grandsons, Elijah and Jude Smith; nieces, Jo Anna Rogers, Sheryl and Carole Sexton, and nephew, Richard Rogers; and in-laws, Comnena Rogers and Jim and Wilma Sexton.
At Joyce’s request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Joyce’s memory to your favorite charity.
