Cleveland State Volleyball Falls To Snead State

Cleveland State Community College's women's volleyball team took on Snead State on Monday evening, losing in straight sets, 0-3. The Lady Cougars are now 0-2 against Snead State on the season and now hold an 8-9 record. In their last five matches, the Lady Cougars have gone 2-3.

Snead State defeated the Lady Cougars decisively as they started set one off with a 25-21 victory. Cleveland State fought hard, and kept it close but couldn't manage to come out with the lead as the set ended.

Set two again went to Snead State as they won by a scord of 25-12 over Cleveland State. The Lady Cougars struggled to get any mometmum going and dropped to a 0-2 match score. Up to this point, Snead State had a total of 22 kills. The third and final set ended the match for Cleveland State as they lost by a score of 25-21. Again the Lady Cougars delivered a solid effort to keep the match alive but they couldn't manage to pull it off, ultimately losing the match to Snead State.

Next up the Lady Cougars, they'll travel to Gadsden State Community College for a road match on Monday, October 8th at 5:00 PM.
