Common Ground will take the stage Friday, June 21, for the 2024 Nokian Tyres Summer Nights Concerts at the Rhea County Courthouse. Covering ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s country and rock, the local group mixes in some of its own music.

Band members include Keith Fults, vocals and guitar, Kevin McKenzie, vocals, bass and guitar, Stephanie McKenzie, vocals, guitar and bass, Steve Pettyjohn, lead guitar, and David “Zero” Zehrung, drums.

This group of close friends started playing music together about 15 years ago and created a blend of classic rock and roll with old and new country music. Their act is marked by interaction with the crowd.

“You never know what might happen at one of our concerts," said Mr. Fults.

Music starts at 7 p.m., but food and beverage vendors will be on hand earlier. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy an evening of music under the shade trees on the courthouse lawn in downtown Dayton.

Nokian Tyres sponsors the event as part of its commitment to serving the community where it operates.
